Home-School Agreement
At Witchampton CofE First School we are determined to create an inclusive culture of learning where all children will be challenged in their thinking, to achieve to the best of their abilities and strive to become lifelong learners.
We aim to empower our children to become respected citizens to enable them to make valuable contributions locally, globally and to contribute to our world’s sustainable future.
We believe this can be done most effectively when all staff, parents/carers and children understand their responsibilities and work together towards the same goals, as detailed in our Home-School Agreement. To best achieve this, we believe in a partnership between parents/carers and the school and that this is essential if children are to make good progress.
We regularly share information with parents/carers through various ways, such as the 'Teacher Information' evening at the start of the academic year, parent/carer consultation evenings, workshops and celebration events to name a few.
We ask children and parents/carers to enter into a Home-School Agreement with us which sets out how we will work together in the best interests of all children at our school.
We also have an IT Acceptable Use Agreement, which explains how children will access the internet and how we, and they, will take responsibility to ensure this learning tool is used safely and wisely.
