We are a mixed class of Year 1 and 2 children. 

Miss Hancock  will be your Class Teacher. She is really looking forward to seeing everyone and getting to know the new Year 1 children. 

Miss Hancock is Science subject leader and also organises Eco Club. There is a representative from each year group in Eco Club. We meet regularly and are currently trying to achieve Plastic Free School status.

Each half term we have a new topic to enable us to cover different areas of the curriculum, making links whenever possible. We enjoy lots of trips out of school, having recently visited a synagogue, Launceston Farm and Gulliver's Bookshop. We have opportunities to take part in sporting events with other schools within the local area.

Year 1 children have the opportunity to have Forest School sessions on the school field once a week with the Hedgehog class.

We love reading in Badgers and always have a class book. Please continue to support your child by reading daily at home.
